Figment

[Intro]

My submission to Night Jam, a 48 hour game jam. The game had to include either "Light is blinding" or "I dont remember" I went heavy on the "Light is blinding side". This was my first 48 hour jam. Where does the time go eh?

[Description]

This is a stealth game which tries to kind of boil down the stealth formula into 4 buttons [WASD] dependent on what cover you can move to. S allows you to move back to the previous cover, but only the last cover. 

[Post Mortem]

The reason you could only move one back, was because I constantly wanted to push the player forward forcing them to confront situations. Unfortunately given the length of the game, the game mechanics arent really given much time to flesh out. 

I like the look of flat lighting, but Unity does not enjoy it. I think the combination of 3d and 2d kind of looks neat, and I may do that more in the future. You dont see it all that often from my experience aside from Nintendo (and man do they do it well)

I like writing on wall as a real alternative to notes, one that lets you flesh out different characters without  needing large  blocks of text. I dont think I accomplished that however here.

Big takeaway? I think there could be a half decent stealth game for mobile devices.
